Flat Class

(2nd tHursday of the month 5:30 PM)

Flat Class Pic

The basic skill of knowing how to repair a flat tire is essential if you want to ride a bicycle. It is going to happen to you sometime, and you might as well learn to be prepared. We will explain what tools to use and demonstrate proper technique. That way, when you hear the telltale hiss of your tire's air pressure escaping, you will have confidence in you abilities to quickly get yourself rolling again.

Bring your own wheel to practice on - that way you know your way around your own wheel when it happens. The techniques taught in this class will help you gain confidence to take longer rides and to be able to help would-be stranded cyclists you may find in your adventures.

Maintenance Class

(4th TUesday of the month - 5:30 PM)

Tool Sign

Don't know your derailleur from your bottom bracket? Intimidated by all the cables, screws, chain rings, and moving parts? No worries, no experience necessary! Our approachable staff has created a welcoming environment and the series begins with identifying the parts of a bicycle.

With the guidance of our seasoned mechanics, you will get your hands dirty learning all the ins and outs of flat tire repair, cleaning your bike from top to bottom, front to back, lubrication of all the necessary parts, shifting/gear adjustments, brake adjustments and general troubleshooting.

You'll be surprised at how quickly you'll be wrenching like a pro. This class is perfect for the rider who is new to fixing anything on their bicycle.

Yoga for Cyclists

Mondays at 6:45 pm

Yoga Sunset

This is not yoga for people who want to be able to put their foot behind their head.

This is a yoga class for you and me (the inflexible people) the ones that want to be comfortable in our own bodies.

As cyclists, our hip flexors, hamstrings, and glutes all get tight while riding. We need our core strength to hold us up on the bike. It's not a competition; it's part of learning how to recuperate from those rides. Bring a mat and a towel - it's FREE!
